Alex Holding - Managing Director
Alex has a passion for the growth of the Australian Potato Industry. Alex has owned and controlled Tolsma QCC's for the best part of 12 years. He has over 25 years of running his own farms and over 15 years of growing potatoes and is an industry specialist in storage. Alex is a qualified installer of cold room panels and is a Tolsma QCC recognised installer. Complimenting and not Competing is the direction he feels the industry must take.
David Cameron - Director and Shareholder
David is a founding investor in Coldahold and a professional agronomist with more than 25 years of experience. Having experienced the deregulation of the Western Australian Egg Marketing Board at farm level, he understands the effects of industry rationalisation and structural change on agricultural businesses.
David recognised early the important role controlled storage can play in improving farm productivity, preserving seed quality and strengthening supply-chain outcomes. He also understands its potential to support the future growth of Western Australia’s seed potato export industry.
David advises approximately 50 farming businesses across Western Australia. He is a principal and board member of Farmanco Management Consultants Pty Ltd, a leading agricultural consultancy operating for more than 40 years. Through this role, he maintains strong connections with agricultural consultants, researchers, universities, government departments and the CSIRO.
Neil Smith - Director and Shareholder
Neil is a Nuffield Scholar and an experienced agricultural business owner who operates a large-scale broadacre farming enterprise based in Merredin, Western Australia. His extensive practical experience gives him a strong understanding of agricultural production, logistics, infrastructure investment, seasonal risk and long-term business growth.
Neil brings this practical and commercial perspective to Coldahold’s operations and strategic development. He played a key role in establishing Coldahold’s first two storage rooms in Mount Gambier and continues to support the company’s infrastructure development and expansion across South Australia and Victoria.
Geof DeCampo — Manjimup Operations Manager
Geof has played an integral role in the establishment and ongoing development of Coldahold’s Manjimup facility.
As Coldahold expanded into Mount Gambier, he assumed full operational responsibility for Manjimup, ensuring the facility, its customers and their valuable seed continued to receive the highest level of care.
With a lifetime of experience across potato growing, logistics, storage and grading, Geof brings extensive practical knowledge to every part of the operation. His reliability, sound judgement and understanding of growers’ requirements make him an invaluable member of the Coldahold team.
Widely recognised and respected throughout the Manjimup–Pemberton potato industry, Geof continues to play an essential role in Coldahold’s operations and future growth
